Important Update

URGENT: Building Closure & Telehealth Availability

We regret to inform you that the antiquated heating system in the building we are leasing failed when the overnight temperatures dropped into single digits on December 7, causing the pipes to freeze and burst. The resulting flood led city inspectors to deem the building unsafe, and it has been shut down until extensive electrical damage is repaired.

📍 New Location

Our lease is ending on Jan 15 and thank God, we were already planning to move out and had a new location picked out

Address: 1115 S. Pennsylvania Ave, Lansing, MI 48912 We are working hard to furnish the new location and install the IT infrastructure to be able to start seeing patients in-person by the end of December.

Until then, our providers are still available for telehealth appointments. Please call and leave a message — our medical assistants are checking voicemails throughout the day and will return your call as soon as possible.

🕒 Transition Details & Support

🚶‍♂️ In-Person Care: We are working around the clock to install IT infrastructure and furniture, with the goal of resuming in-person visits by the end of December.
💻 Current Appointments: Until the new site opens, our providers are available for telehealth appointments.
📞 Communication: Please call and leave a message. Our medical assistants are checking voicemails throughout the day and will return your call as soon as possible.
📦 Equipment Needs: Because our existing equipment is trapped in the flooded building, we are starting from scratch. If you have medical equipment to donate or sell at a discount, please email fbhatti@carefreemedical.org.
